If I were to affirm, in an untimely fashion,
that an objective history escapes
not only us but the eye of Time itself,

Cigarette

In hindsight,
you should have marked the walls
with the years – counting  days has left it scarred.

There is no life on this ashtray street
only ash stares – scavenging on death,
suspired as graced rumours through generations
that have tiptoed by – when now and then
a gale rips a window frame, or shakes
the picket and your green heart flutters,
flies with sparks in the insipid darkness;

DELORIS

A frozen forest named Deloris told me how it all ends,
so I climbed on top of two big rocks and asked if we could be friends.
They said out loud I was not allowed and pushed me inside a cannon.
They shot me high into the sky until I saw all the planet.

I felt a pain inside my brain and so I pulled it out to see.
Inside I found a tiny hive that housed hundreds of bees.
In their homes they were not alone there were even more of me.
